About this course
An initial, ground-up course on the continuing-airworthiness regulatory framework for staff who need working command of Regulation (EU) No 1321/2014 as amended by Commission Implementing Regulation (EU) 2026/100. The first part builds the framework: how Regulation (EU) 2018/1139 delegates to 1321/2014, the annex map (Annex I Part-M, Annex II Part-145, Annex III Part-66, Annex IV Part-147, Annex Va Part-T, Annex Vb Part-ML, Annex Vc Part-CAMO, Annex Vd Part-CAO), which aircraft fall into Part-M and which into Part-ML, the M.A.201 / ML.A.201 allocation of responsibility between owner, operator and organisation, contracted continuing-airworthiness management, airworthiness data and airworthiness directives, modification and repair data, the record-keeping regime of M.A.305 / M.A.306, the aircraft maintenance programme under M.A.302 / ML.A.302, maintenance data and the certificate of release to service under M.A.801, defect deferral and component control, and the occurrence-reporting duty in M.A.202 / ML.A.202 as rewritten by 2026/100 and realigned with Regulation (EU) 376/2014. The second part covers the organisations and the review: Part-CAMO approval scope and privileges under CAMO.A.125, the management system of CAMO.A.200 and internal safety reporting under CAMO.A.202 / CAMO.A.160, personnel and airworthiness review staff qualification under CAMO.A.305 and CAMO.A.310, the CAME under CAMO.A.300, contracting, changes under CAMO.A.130 and continued validity under CAMO.A.135, the Part-CAO equivalents (CAO.A.020, CAO.A.025, CAO.A.045, CAO.A.075, CAO.A.085, CAO.A.090, CAO.A.095, CAO.A.100, CAO.A.105, CAO.A.110, CAO.A.115), and then the airworthiness review itself as rewritten: M.A.901 issuance conditions with the 'controlled environment' construct removed, M.A.902 validity and extension, the dedicated review process in M.A.903, review-staff qualification in M.A.904, transfer of registration within the Union in M.A.905, aircraft without a certificate of airworthiness issued under (EU) 748/2012 in M.A.906, the corrective action plan of M.A.907, the Part-ML equivalents ML.A.901 - 907, the EASA Form 15(a) / 15(b) / 15(c) taxonomy and the certificate of airworthiness under Regulation (EU) 748/2012. A dedicated block then covers the approval lifecycle and authority oversight: application and means of compliance under CAMO.A.115 and CAMO.A.120, the terms of approval on the EASA Form 14 under CAMO.A.125, facilities and immediate reaction to safety problems under CAMO.A.140 and CAMO.A.155, the competent-authority oversight programme and planning cycle under CAMO.B.300 / CAMO.B.305, the level 1 and level 2 finding taxonomy of CAMO.B.350 with the aircraft-level equivalents in M.B.303 and M.B.304, and the information security overlay of Regulation (EU) 2023/203 (Part-IS) integrated into the CAMO.A.200 management system. Component classification, installation, life-limited parts and unserviceable control under M.A.501 to M.A.504 and M.A.802 are taught as a lesson in their own right, and two facilitated group exercises - a CAMO.A.315 interface map and a level 2 corrective action plan - anchor the classroom sessions. Twenty-five lessons, each built on the six-station teaching spine, closing with a capstone walkthrough and a server-graded final exam at 80 per cent.
