About this course
Each Part-145 organisation must give its certifying staff, support staff, planners and managers a Safety and Human Factors continuation training cycle every 24 months. GM1 145.A.30(e) (Guidance Material) states this clearly, and ED Decision 2022/011/R renamed the subject 'Safety and Human Factors'. This course delivers the cycle in a form that the next surveillance audit accepts. A core module, common to all roles, repeats the human-performance science from initial training. A Part-145 context module then covers the maintenance error chain (Maintenance Error Decision Aid, MEDA), shift handover, the 145.A.30(e) evidence pack that the inspector samples, and a 30-question server-graded final exam with an 80% pass mark. For B1/B2/C certifying staff, support staff, NPMM post-holders, planners and the compliance monitoring function in any EASA Part-145 helicopter Approved Maintenance Organisation (AMO).
